Process Mining Data Scientist

About the role:
As a Process Mining Data Scientist, you will enable data‑driven process improvement across the organization. Working with process owners and stakeholders, you will uncover how processes truly run, identify inefficiencies, and turn insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
You will build and maintain data models, dashboards, and end‑to‑end process mining solutions, while preparing data, defining KPIs, and applying advanced analytics and machine learning to support decision‑making.
Strong communication and consulting skills are essential, as you will train users, provide support, and promote the adoption of process mining methodologies across business teams.

Key responsibilities:
Collaborate with process owners to build data-driven solutions that deliver added value and streamline processes.
Build and maintain data models, dashboards, analyses, reports, and ETL processes for internal business customers.
Collect business requirements, consult on data preparation and representation, and support interpretation and root cause analysis of results.
Identify relevant process KPIs and support process improvement projects.
Ensure data governance, including user access and permission concepts, data integrity, and system operation (support, troubleshooting).
Apply data analysis, advanced statistics, and machine learning techniques to extract valuable business insights.
Provide end-user support, training, and ongoing system administration.
Actively contributes to team discussions and foster positive relationships with business functions.
Build and manage positive relationships with business functions to support a wider understanding and implementation of process mining techniques and its benefits.
Your Qualifications:
Education: Master’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, mathematics, industrial engineering, statistics, economics, or a related technical or economic discipline.
Process Mining Tools: At least 2 years of professional experience with Process Mining tools such as Celonis, Signavio, UiPath, or MS Power Automate required.
Analytical Tools: Demonstrated experience in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence, including hands-on use of BI platforms.
Programming and Data Integration: Proficiency in SQL and Python, plus practical experience with data integrations and API calls is beneficial.
Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) processes, especially SAP S4.
