International Tax Specialist

About the role:
International Tax Specialist is responsible for daily tasks and operations related to international taxation, including advising on tax matters across group subsidiaries, monitoring compliance with global tax regulations, and supporting financial and tax reporting. The role involves working closely with the Group Tax department and contributing to global tax frameworks, transfer pricing, and cross-border projects within an international team.
The position offers the opportunity to work within ANDRITZ AG, the parent company of the ANDRITZ Group, a multinational mechanical engineering group headquartered in Graz, Austria. This provides exposure to a truly global organization and collaboration within an international corporate environment.

Task and responsibilities:
· Advising on and coordinating tax matters relating to international group subsidiaries
· Handling issues of international tax law
· Analyzing and assessing international customer projects from a tax perspective
· Performing extensive calculations within the framework of the Pillar Two global minimum tax regime
· Supporting the implementation of a global tax control framework
· Assisting in the preparation of the group’s quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements
· Preparing (public) Country-by-Country (CbC) reporting
· Coordinating cross-border restructurings in cooperation with domestic and international advisors
· Supporting and accompanying international tax audits
· Designing, maintaining, and further developing the group-wide transfer pricing framework
· Preparing ongoing tax reports and analyses
Your Qualifications:
· Degree in business administration or law with a relevant focus (e.g. taxation, accounting, finance
· Initial professional experience in international taxation and accounting/controlling; experience in a Big 4 environment is an advantage
· Very good command of English (written and spoken)
· Basic German communication skills would be an advantage
· Goal-oriented, structured, and detail-focused working style
· Strong analytical skills and numerical aptitude
· Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
· Enthusiasm for working in an international environment
