About the role:

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Software Development Engineer to join our agile team and help deliver innovative Digital Solutions for our internal and external customers across the globe. This is a great opportunity for someone with a basic background in software engineering who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to real-world projects.

Your tasks with us:

• Together with your colleagues, you will ensure the further development of existing solutions and interfaces within the Siemens PLM area.
• In addition, it is your task to conceptualize and implement economical new developments in compliance with the business benefit to support the customer during daily work in the best possible way.
• The quality of the implementation in terms of usability, stability, maintenance, and integrity is particularly important.
• With your implementations, you serve the entire system architecture in various forms and technologies, such as desktop applications on the client, server-side implementations, web interfaces, etc.
  
  

Your qualifications:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent training and professional experience

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team

• Hands-on experience in the field of web development, including
• JavaScript/TypeScript
• Angular Framework
• Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
• HyperText Markup Language (HTML)

• Basic knowledge of the following beneficial

• C# and ASP.NET CORE
• Client/Server Architecture
• Synchronous/asynchronous execution in distributed systems
• Knowledge of design patterns

• SQL/NoSQL databases
• Version Control System (GitHub)

• Initial experience with 3D CAD and PLM applications beneficial

• Fluency in written and spoken English, German is advantageous
